Today, we pray for the brokenhearted

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are brokenhearted right now. Grief, rejection, insults, illness, loneliness, death, ill-treatment, abuse, crisis, lack of spiritual nurturing - all these have left us broken and bruised. Only You can heal and repair our crushed spirits now, Jesus. Lord, help us understand that this world of broken people, will break others. Help us forgive the ones who break us and let us cut this chain reaction of pain. We pray that Your Spirit will touch us and make us whole. Let our lives become testimonies of Your love all over again. Amen.

Today, we pray for greater respect towards Mary, our mother

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You, Your children who do not give adequate love and respect to Your mother. Lord, show the world how precious she and the saints are in Your sight. May every word that is said against Mama Mary be washed in the blood of You, her son. May her children realise the folly of their ways and come back to the love of the Holy Family, this Advent season. Amen.

Today, we pray for the elderly

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are living alone. Watch over our parents and grandparents, O Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Help us serve them well all their lives. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We pray for all our brothers and sisters in Philippines and Vietnam. Have mercy on them and bless and comfort them during this natural calamity. Lord, there are thousands who have lost their lives and there are many who are grieving and suffering due to the losses of their families and homes.  Many are old, pregnant,  and too young to handle this sudden calamity.

Lord, please let Your never changing love fill their hearts and may Your peace and power help them overcome this crisis. Amen.

Today, we pray over dead relationships

Lord Jesus, human relationships are the soul of Your church on earth. We pray today that

Your Holy Spirit will come into our hearts and help us build, not break - homes, churches, 

organisations, friendships and bonds within the family, by letting the devil destroy 

relationships with each other. Open our eyes that we may see that loving our brethren 

comes right after loving You and is as equally important to God. Let Your healing flow 

into every relationship in our lives. Amen.

Please pray for Mr. Glen Alvares, 16 years old, suffering from cancer. May Lord Jesus heal him and restore him to good health. Amen.

Today, we pray for persecuted Christians

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow - into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that - to know You, is to speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world a billion, trillion times every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without boundaries, my Jesus. Amen.
