Today, we pray for the brokenhearted

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are brokenhearted right now. Grief, rejection, insults, illness, loneliness, death, ill-treatment, abuse, crisis, lack of spiritual nurturing - all these have left us broken and bruised. Only You can heal and repair our crushed spirits now, Jesus. Lord, help us understand that this world of broken people, will break others. Help us forgive the ones who break us and let us cut this chain reaction of pain. We pray that Your Spirit will touch us and make us whole. Let our lives become testimonies of Your love all over again. Amen.

Today, we pray for greater respect towards Mary, our mother

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You, Your children who do not give adequate love and respect to Your mother. Lord, show the world how precious she and the saints are in Your sight. May every word that is said against Mama Mary be washed in the blood of You, her son. May her children realise the folly of their ways and come back to the love of the Holy Family, this Advent season. Amen.

Today, we pray for the elderly

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are living alone. Watch over our parents and grandparents, O Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Help us serve them well all their lives. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We pray for all our brothers and sisters in Philippines and Vietnam. Have mercy on them and bless and comfort them during this natural calamity. Lord, there are thousands who have lost their lives and there are many who are grieving and suffering due to the losses of their families and homes.  Many are old, pregnant,  and too young to handle this sudden calamity.

Lord, please let Your never changing love fill their hearts and may Your peace and power help them overcome this crisis. Amen.

Today, we pray over dead relationships

Lord Jesus, human relationships are the soul of Your church on earth. We pray today that

Your Holy Spirit will come into our hearts and help us build, not break - homes, churches, 

organisations, friendships and bonds within the family, by letting the devil destroy 

relationships with each other. Open our eyes that we may see that loving our brethren 

comes right after loving You and is as equally important to God. Let Your healing flow 

into every relationship in our lives. Amen.

Please pray for Mr. Glen Alvares, 16 years old, suffering from cancer. May Lord Jesus heal him and restore him to good health. Amen.

Today, we pray for persecuted Christians

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow - into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that - to know You, is to speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world a billion, trillion times every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without boundaries, my Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that Your peace comes into our world. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your touch heals each one of them. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, groups. A special prayer for peace and restoration in the Middle East. God bless us all. Amen.

Today, we pray for pregnant women

Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends. We pray that theirs wombs, their spouses and babies are blessed. May the men who are to give them much care and love, do so with Your touch. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give them relief from their discomforts. Bless them with safe and happy confinement and smooth labour. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for not ignoring me, a sinner. You have loved me and continue to love me in spite of my never ending sins and iniquities. Lord, You are the most loving and merciful God. You have safeguarded and kept me and my family alive and in good state even during my most difficult and challenging times of my life. Lord Jesus, my life is nothing without You. You are my hope, my light and all the goodness I have in my life. I love You, Lord Jesus. I praise You, Lord Jesus. I worship You, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Today, we pray for our children's faith

Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your working in our tough, unfair world. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Be with them every moment and send Your angels to aid them when they are in emotional, physical or spiritual danger. May they become real children of light. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we entrust to Your Sacred Heart, each person around the world who is struggling to pray. Whether we are unable to pray because of a lack of time or a lack of spiritual intimacy with You, may Your touch heal us all. Fill us with peace from You. May we never give up when our emotions or circumstances tell us that You are not present. May Your angels surround us and nudge us back to You. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You babies and children who are suffering and in pain. Heal their emotional and physical wounds, Lord. When they cry out, may Your angels rush to their aid and soothe their brows. Give them 

the assurance that You are carrying them in Your precious arms. When tears flow, give their families Your strength, love and grace. May no child go to bed feeling despair or suffering tonight. Amen.

Today, we pray for those awaiting miracles

Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your Cross, those of us who are awaiting a major revival in our lives. Lord, only Your Spirit can rebuild and revive anything that's bent, broken or totally shattered. We pray that Your light will come into our lives and provide the miraculous breakthroughs we desperately seek - in our ministry, relationships, marriages, careers and any situations we face, during our daily walk. May help come immediately when we turn to You. And may we turn to You first before we seek help elsewhere. Also, bring to us good people who can help turn the tide in our favour. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have a lukewarm relationship with You and Your people. Lord, You said that those who are neither hot nor cold would be spat out. We pray that we really begin to live out our Christian faith with love, passion, freedom and grace. May we also never become blind followers of the blind, but exercise Your wisdom and caution, when facing challenges in our faith walk. Bring Your Spirit alive in us - every day - give us a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today members of our family and extended family. We pray that illnesses and strife within our homes are healed, relationships washed in Your Precious Blood and mended. May we learn to love them as our own, as You decided they should be our own. May every negative thought, misunderstanding and sickness be surrendered at the foot of Your cross today. Bless our dear ones to come closer to You and to each other. May we always bless and never curse each other. Let Your love flow into and through our family tree daily. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I have overseen so many miracles little and great that You have performed in my life. Lord, I always considered these miracles as "my good luck, coincidence or  dream come true" failing to realize and acknowledge that it was only You working miracles in my life. Lord Jesus, I ask for Your forgiveness and mercy for my arrogance and pride. I thank You Lord for building my life on these small and big miracles which makes me a happy individual that I am today. I love you Jesus, I praise and worship you Lord Jesus. Amen.

Oh Merciful Father,I come to Your presence fully acknowledging that nothing is impossible with You. Lord, I lose heart when I am continually disappointed in my search for a job and when a job, which I like, goes to somebody else. Endless waiting and all the recommendations unavailing shatter my hope. My mind, under such circumstances, tends to degenerate into doubting Your might and questioning Your love. In all such situations, strengthen me to put my trust in You and to be patient in You.If my sins are a stumbling block to this blessing, I plead with You Father, to forgive them. Lord, I am also very much worried when I realize that I am not in a position to support my family. Turn every sorrow into joy. I know that You will definitely do so. Grant me a good job soon, according to Your will and in the place of Your own choice. Your will is my privilege. I praise You Lord, for hearing my prayer and for Your promise of a job for me soon.Amen.

Today, we pray for Your anointing

Lord Jesus, today we pray that Your power falls on us. May a heavy anointing of the Holy Spirit fall on each one of us - the young and the old, men and women and people from all walks of life. May the world come to see Your glory and the manifestation of it. May Your people come together in one Spirit to praise You as one church, one flock. May Your Spirit cleanse, heal and renew us all. Use us completely for You, Lord, after that. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive me Lord and have mercy on me a sinner. Lord,  as You taught us to pray, help me to forgive everyone who hurts me, as You forgave even when You were on the cross. Lord, I am often out of words of praise and thanks to You, during my happy days but when I am hurt, my mind, heart and soul comes up with bitter words and thoughts in a manner which displays a deep hole in my heart, which can never be filled with peace and forgiveness. I ask for Your forgiveness and grace in such moments and help me to focus on Your love and mercy all the days of my life. Lord Jesus, renew my heart, mind and soul like that of a child who forgives and forgets as nothing wrong ever was done to him/her. Let me never utter anything wrong or curse my fellow human brothers and sisters who hurt me knowingly/unknowingly, grant me Your love and peace to bless everyone including my enemies. I Thank You, Lord Jesus and I Worship You, Lord Jesus. Amen.
